Franco Anastasio was born on 2/12/1962 in Rimini. Aged 20, he began making and selling ice-cream in his Rimini ice-cream parlours, which he would go on to run for 15 years. Aged 35, he started an 11-year collaboration with the Carpigiani sales agency based in Coriano, as exclusive agent for their machines, designing and opening a number of ice-cream parlours in Italy and across the world, and organising different training courses for ice-cream professionals taught by the very best Italian masters. In September 2009, he made the decision to begin working on a project that he'd been thinking about for some time: the A.F. System, where he would implement his experience and expertise to help all ice-cream professionals and all those who want to join the business.
